…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EAST CENTRAL TUSCALOOSA AND
SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTIES UNTIL 445 PM CDT…
At 404 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake View, or 8 miles southwest of Bessemer, moving northwest at 15
mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm. Gusty
winds may occur ahead of any rainfall.
Locations impacted include…
Hueytown, Lake View, North Johns, Tannehill Ironworks State Park,
Bull City, Abernant, Caffee Junction, Bucksville, East Brookwood and
Weller.
