Significant Weather Advisory For Franklin And Southern Lawrence Counties Until 8:15 PM CDT

…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FRANKLIN AND SOUTHERN LAWRENCE
COUNTIES UNTIL 815 PM CDT…
At 713 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a broad region of
thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall across the advisory
area. The storms are nearly stationary, and are producing rainfall
rates up to 2 to 3 inches per hour. This is likely contributing to
significant rises along Dunkin Creek, Chisholm Creek, Little Bear
Creek, and Turkey Creek in Franklin County, as well as Town Creek in
Lawrence County.
Locations impacted include…
Russellville, Moulton, Phil Campbell, Belgreen, Hodges, Mt Hope,
Cedar Creek Reservoir, Atwood, Tharptown and Duketon.
