SOUTHWESTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES UNTIL 900 PM CDT…
At 833 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Slackland, or 9 miles north of Hokes Bluff. This storm was nearly
stationary.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Gadsden, Centre, Leesburg, Reece City, Sand Rock, Ballplay, Tabor
Road, Slackland, Cherokee Rock Village, Western Weiss Lake, Weiss
Dam, Crudup, Keener, Black Creek and Wilsonia.
