It is a gorgeous Saturday across Alabama. It is the first rain free Saturday we have has in May. It will be the first rain-free weekend since April 25-26. In fact, seven of the last nine weekends saw measurable rains.

Regional radars are even clearer than the visible satellite image posted above.

Temperatures are warming quickly into the 80s. Dewpoints are in the upper 50s for the most part. There is a light northwesterly breeze.

It will be mostly sunny this afternoon, with just a few fair weather cumulus clouds managing to form. It will be dry through Monday, at least, with warm temperatures. Some spots may hit 90 tomorrow. We are predicting 88 in Birmingham. That would tie three days in late March as the warmest so far this year.

Get out and enjoy the fine weather.

INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION VISIBLE TONIGHT
The ISS is very bright now with its solar panels that are nearly as long as a football field. Only the sun and moon are brighter right now in our skies. It will pass across the sky starting in the north northwest at around 8:02 p.m. this evening. It will take 8 and one half minutes to transit the sky. Check it out.
