Dense Fog in Spots Early This Morning

Dense fog has formed early this morning across parts of North and Central Alabama.

Visibilities are less than one-quarter mile in a few spots.

Here are reports at 5:45 a.m.:

Sylacauga: 1/2 mile
Jasper: Less than 1/4 mile
Prattville: 3/4 mile
Fort Payne: 1/4 mile
Anniston: 3 miles
Talladega Municipal Airport: 1/4 mile
Troy: 1/4 mile

The fog will burn off around 9 a.m. Until then, be alert to rapidly changing visibilities if you are driving.

Your Morning Xtreme video will be posted by 7 a.m. It will include fairly high chances for storms today.
