Waiting and Watching

Nothing significant going on around Alabama at mid-morning. Some strong storms were moving eastward through West Tennessee.

However, the Storm Prediction Center has a large part of Alabama under a “Slight risk” today and tonight. In fact, it extends all the way down to about Troy and Evergreen.

Also, SPC has a slight risk for tomorrow for North Alabama from roughly Birmingham northward.

For today, the better chance of strong storms will probably be this afternoon/evening but some could fire up earlier.
