Hardly anything going on.

99.9% of the state is dry. Only one or two very small showers, one over Tallapoosa County.

Cooler over the east and SE sections, hotter over the west. Sample midday temperatures:

81 atop Mt. Cheaha
82 Auburn
86 Ozark, Anniston, Gadsden
88 Alexander City, Decatur, Huntsville
90 Montgomery, Birmingham
92 Tuscaloosa
95 Mobile

The Storm Prediction Center maintains a slight risk of severe weather this afternoon and tonight for East Central and Southeast Alabama. That same outlook also extends far up the Eastern Seaboard to include almost all of Georgia and Florida, the Carolinas, Virginia, Maryland, Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Eastern New York State.
