Significant Wx Advisory For Parts Of Tuscaloosa, Pickens, Marengo, Perry, Greene, Hale, Sumter, Fayette, Lamar Counties Until 12:00 PM

At 1100 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of rain showers associated with strong winds along a line extending from near Columbus AFB to near Arcola. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Already receiving reports of multiple trees down across Lamar County on NWS Chat.

Southwestern Tuscaloosa, Northport, Demopolis, Fayette, Marion, Eutaw, Greensboro, Aliceville, Vernon, Sulligent, Gordo, Reform, Millport, Carrollton, Pickensville, Jefferson, Moundville, Coker, Forkland and Kennedy.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
