Strong Storm With Gusty Wind & Potential For Small Hail Affecting Pickens & Lamar Counties

A Significant Weather Advisory is in effect for parts of Pickens & Lamar counties until 10:45 AM.

A strong thunderstorm was moving along a line extending from just southeast of Amory to near Bent Oak to Mashulaville. The movement of that storm was to the east at 35 MPH. Some pea size hail and gusty winds up to 40 MPH may be possible with this storm. There was a wind gust of 40 MPH reported at the airport in West Point, Mississippi.

Aliceville, Vernon, Sulligent, Reform, Millport, Carrollton, Pickensville, Kennedy, Ethelsville, McMullen, Bevill Lock And Dam, Garden, Blooming Grove, Lamar County Airport, Crews, Bedford, Cody, Dillburg, Shaw and George Downer Airport.
