Unfortunately, Two Fatalities Reported In Lawrence County

Parts of the Tennesee Valley were hit hard by a few tornadoes that moved across the area earlier this afternoon and evening. We have been receiving damage reports throughout the event and the sad news is that we have lost two people to a possible tornado in Lawrence County.

1 S Meridianville [Madison Co, AL] FIRE DEPT/RESCUE reports TSTM WND DMG at 16 Dec, 6:04 PM CST — CARPORT REPORTED ON POWERLINES IN THE AREA OF MONROE ROAD AND HIGHWAY 431.

5 SSE Harvest [Madison Co, AL] FIRE DEPT/RESCUE reports TSTM WND DMG at 16 Dec, 5:54 PM CST — REPORTING STRUCTURAL DAMAGE AT HOMES ON PORTIONS OF JASMINE DRIVE. POSSIBLE TORNADO DAMAGE.
