The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Perry County in central Alabama…

* Until 1015 PM CST.

* At 923 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Harrisburg to near Vaiden, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Marion, Uniontown, Heiberger, Vaiden, Suttle, Oakmulgee, Perry
County Correctional Center, Judson College, Radford, Sprott, Vaiden
Field Airport and Ellards.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CST for central
Alabama.
