* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central DeKalb County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 1000 PM CST.

* At 934 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fyffe, or 9
miles southwest of Rainsville, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Fort Payne, Rainsville, Henagar, Sylvania, Fyffe, Powell,
Geraldine, Valley Head, Hammondville and Mentone.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CST for northeastern
Alabama.
