Dense Fog Advisory For A Good Chunk Of Central Alabama Until 9:00 AM

NWS Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for parts of Central Alabama until 9:00 am this morning. Counties included in the advisory are: Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Chilton, Cleburne, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston.

…DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST THIS MORNING…

* WHAT…Visibility less than one half mile in dense fog.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, northeast, northwest and west central Alabama.

* WHEN…Until 9 AM CST this morning.

* IMPACTS…Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
