Fun On The Fourth

My wife Jessica is a photographer on the Gulf Coast and got these pictures of the fireworks held on the 3rd and 4th. The 3rd was at Perdido Beach Resort and the 4th was out back of The Hangout, at the end of Hwy. 59. For the camera nerds, she used a Canon 40D on a tripod, f/8, shutter 4-10 seconds, ISO 100. The “Happy 4th” picture is a “light graffiti” picture, taken with a shutter speed at 30 seconds — a flashlight is pointed at the camera while the aperture is open for half a minute, allowing you to spell out or draw whatever you want. Enjoy!”
