Tornado Watch Issued for Parts of Central Alabama

A new tornado watch has been issued for parts of West Central Alabama. It goes until 5 a.m. CST.

It includes:
Autauga, Bibb, Chilton, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Lowndes, Marengo, Perry, Shelby, and Sumter Counties.

SUMMARY…Multiple supercells should progress east-northeast along a
cold front overnight with additional cells potentially developing
ahead of the front. A couple tornadoes and scattered damaging winds
will be the main threats.
