Tornado Warning for Parts of Shelby County…Confirmed Tornado Near Helena!!!

At 2:18, the tornado warning is canceled. The rotation has weakened.

At 2:15, the circulation is along highway 119. It is passing near Oak Mountain State Park. Will move toward highway 280 and Meadowbrook or Inverness.

AT 2:03 AM WE HAVE A TORNADO DEBRIS SIGNATURE APPROACHING HELENA!!!!

This tornado will move over northern portions of Pelham, crossing I-65 and US-31 near or south of AL-119…passing near Indian Springs Village and eventually Meadowbrook and Lake Purdy.

if you are in the polygon, be in your safe place!!!

…AT 201 AM CST, A CONFIRMED TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR HELENA, MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH.

…AT 159 AM CST, A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR MAYLENE, OR 7 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HELENA, MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.
