Strong Storms Now Affecting Parts Of Bibb & Chilton Counties

As of 2:57 pm, there was a strong thunderstorm located just to the south of Montevallo and had the potential of producing gusty winds up to 40 MPH and pea-size hail. Locations that could be affected by this storm are Calera, Brent, Centreville, Jemison, Ashby, Brierfield Ironworks Park, West Centreville, Minooka Park, Six Mile, and Bibb County Airport.

We’ll keep our eyes on this storm just in case it decides to get stronger. As with the previous storms we talked about, there is not a lot of lightning occurring with this storm.
