Strong Storm Affecting Parts Of Chilton & Autauga Counties… Gusty Winds & Small Hail Possible

| March 2, 2020 @ 2:36 pm

As of 2:30 pm, we have a small cell moving over the extreme southern parts of Chilton County and the northern parts of Autauga County that may be producing gusty winds up to 40 MPH and dropping some pea-size hail. This cell is moving to the east at 25 MPH. There is not much lightning with this cell, but we’ll need to keep our eye on it just in case it decides to strengthen.

While we do not have a threat for organized severe weather this afternoon, we may get one or two that produces gusty winds and small hail.
