Strong Storms Over North and Central Alabama at 2:50 p.m.

Strong, but not severe, thunderstorms are over North and Central Alabama at this hour.

One is just east of Birmingham has discussed in a previous post. It has lightning, some hail, and gusty winds.

Over North Alabam, strong storms extend from near Hartselle in Morgan County to near Triana in Madison County.

These will affect the following areas with winds of 30 mph and pea-sized hail: Southern Huntsville, Decatur, Hartselle, Arab, Redstone Arsenal,
Priceville, Owens Cross Roads, Falkville, Holly Pond and Triana.
