Party On The River
Thanks to James Cain for these shots taken Saturday… he writes:
“What a gorgeous afternoon! We took advantage of it by showing the Black Warrior River off to my niece visiting from Colorado. We took her from Eagle’s Cove marina up to Bankhead Lock & Dam and back to the Holt Lock and Dam. There we met up with the Pirates of the Black Warrior. They had gathered there to hear Mike Spiller sing and play from the front of his boat. Over the radio, we heard a barge captain ask the Holt lock master “What have we got over there? A redneck yacht club?” The lock master replied “It looks like we got one!””
