Flash Flood Warning: Marshall County Until 4:00 AM

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Central Marshall County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 400 AM CDT.

* At 1003 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain falling
across the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE…Emergency management.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Guntersville, Arab, Union Grove, Eddy, Lake Guntersville St Park
and Columbus City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
