EXPIRED – Severe T-Storm Warning for Lowndes County Until 7:15 PM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Lowndes County in south central Alabama…

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 635 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Benton to 10 miles southwest of Gordonville, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Mosses, Hayneville, White Hall, Gordonville, Lowndesboro, Benton,
Beechwood, Calhoun, Manack, Letohatchee, Mount Willing, Collirene,
Farmersville and Fostoria.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central and
south central Alabama.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
