Just got a report on NWS Chat from Gallion in Hale County. Significant tree damage has been reported from Gallion to Newbern with many roads impassable due to downed trees. Here is the raw text from NWS Chat:

Gallion [Hale Co, AL] fire dept/rescue reports TSTM WND DMG at 04:36 AM CDT — gallion vfd and hale county emergency management reports significant tree damage across southern hale county from gallion to newbern. many county roads across southern hale county are reported as impassible due to trees down.
