Strong Storms Affecting Parts of Jackson, Marshall, Madison, Dekalb, Morgan Counties

…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON…
MARSHALL…EASTERN MADISON…SOUTHWESTERN DEKALB AND EAST CENTRAL
MORGAN COUNTIES UNTIL 500 PM CDT…

At 426 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Morgan City to near Guntersville to near
Albertville. Movement was north at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include…
Huntsville, Albertville, Boaz, Guntersville, Moores Mill,
Meridianville, Owens Cross Roads, Grant, Gurley and Woodville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
