The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Cleburne County in east central Alabama…

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 617 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mars Hills,
or 11 miles southwest of Cedartown, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Fruithurst, Edwardsville, Muscadine, Abernathy, Mars Hills, I 20
Welcome Center and Oak Level.
