Late Morning Wrapup + Rain Totals

Late this morning that part of Alabama north of roughly the Eutaw-Tuscaloosa-Birmingham-Guntersville was getting a break from the rain.

Around the rest of the state, showers and storms were still in progress. It is an irregular pattern with scattered storms, clusters and short lines. Some of the heaviest rain was across Marengo County and areas SW of Montgomery. There was a cluster of moderate to heavy rain in St. Clair County, NE of Birmingham.
