The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Winston County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 515 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sardis, or 12
miles northeast of Arley, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Addison, Sardis, Inmanfield, Upshaw, Addison Town Hall and Addison
Municipal Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for northwestern
Alabama.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Birmingham.
