Tornado Watch Allowed to Expire

A strong to marginally severe storm cannot be ruled out for the remainder of the evening producing wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph. However, coverage of severe activity is expected to be too low to continue any watches. Therefore, the Tornado Watch has been allowed to expire.

• Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, Morgan counties in North Alabama.

• Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Walker, Winston counties in Central Alabama.
