Southern Sumter County in west central Alabama…
* Until 1145 PM CDT.
* At 945 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1.5
and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.

Demopolis, York, Cuba, Coatopa, Kinterbish, Dug Hill, Bellamy,
Lilita, Whitfield, Old Mallard Airport, Ward, I 20 Welcome Center
At Cuba, Belmont, McDowell and Demopolis Lock And Dam.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
