Wind Advisory Issued for Much of Central Alabama Until 6:00 am Monday

NWS Birmingham issues a WIND ADVISORY for the following counties in Central Alabama until 6:00 am Monday: Autauga, Barbour, Bibb, Blount, Bullock, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Jefferson, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Randolph, Russell, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, and Tallapoosa.

Gusty winds up to 35 MPH could blow around unsecured objects or decorations. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
