Strong Storms Affecting Parts of Tuscaloosa County

…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL TUSCALOOSA COUNTY UNTIL
230 AM CST…

At 210 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Binion Creek Landing, or 8 miles north of Holt, moving northeast at
50 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Bankhead Lock And Dam, Bull City, Lake Nicol, Lake Tuscaloosa,
Highway 69 Bridge, Sexton Bend, Lake Nicol Park and Lake Harris.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Birmingham.
