Showers and Storms Continue

A batch of showers continues over East Alabama tonight from DeKalb southward through Cherokee and other Georgia border counties on in to Clay County.

Other showers are scattered between Tuscaloosa, Montgomery and Eufaula.

More interestingly, a new batch of storms is getting its act together over Northwest Alabama. These storms are over Franklin and Marion Counties, pushing southeastward.

Looks like a showery weekend with an upper trough being reinforced by a series of upper level disturbances and finally a new cooler and drier airmass by late Sunday.
