The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Northeastern Jefferson County in central Alabama…

* Until 1100 PM CST.

* At 1033 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Brookside, or near Fultondale, moving east
at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Northern Birmingham, Trussville, Gardendale, Fultondale, Center
Point, Clay, Pinson, Tarrant, Adamsville, Argo, Graysville,
Brookside, Cardiff, Ketona Lakes, Chalkville, Grayson Valley,
Forestdale, Minor, New Castle and Danville.
