More Storms Moving Northward

Converging storms over Southwest and South Central Alabama are converging, producing some very heavy rain at this hour over Perry County.

The storms and rain are moving northward into Pickens, Tuscaloosa and Bibb Counties. Heavy rain is over Chilton County.

Very intense rain is over Perry County now. Flash flooding is likely along a north south line between Greensboro and Marion.

Another area of heavy rain and some lightning is over southern Autauga into northern Lowndes County. Other storms are over South Alabama from Wilcox into Monroe and Butler Counties.

Over North Central Alabama, a weakening band of showers extends from northern Tuscaloosa into Fayette, Walker, Blount and Cullman Counties.

There is a convergence line from Clanton to north of Rockford in Coosa County. Other than that, areas wast of I-65 and south of I-59 are fairly clear now and may escape any additional heavy rain over the next few hours.
