New Tornado Watch Until 1:00 am Friday for Much of North Alabama

A new Tornado Watch has been issued until 1:00 am to replace the PDS Tornado Watch for the following counties in North Alabama: Colbert, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, and Morgan.

• A couple strong tornadoes possible
• Isolated hail up to quarter size possible
• Isolated damaging wind gusts up to 65 mph possible

The PDS Tornado Watch was allowed to expire for the following counties in North Alabama: Cullman, DeKalb, and Marshall.
