Wind Damage Threat May Be Increasing

The storm over Lamar County is now showing winds up to 70 mph. The severe thunderstorm warning continues for parts of Fayette, Lamar, and Marion Counties.

Three-quarter inch hail was reported by a spotter near Caledonia MS as well.

In Huntsville, Alex Puckett reported that their cameras saw power flashes over the city, indicating strong winds. Severe thunderstorm warning continues for parts of Lawrence, Limestone, and Morgan Counties. Winds gusted to 47 mph at UAH and to 53 mph at Decatur.
