Watching Some Rotation in Cullman County Storm

| March 28, 2021 @ 5:35 am

A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 6 a.m. for parts of Cullman County.

There has been some rotation recently with the storm though, and the NWS in Huntsville is watching it closely.

Here is the radar, with reflectivity on the left and storm relative velocity on the right.

Folks along Alabama HIghway 69 out of Cullman toward Fairview and Baileyton, and on up into Marshall County around Arab need to be especially alert in case a tornado warning is issued.
