Strong Storm Moving Into Northern Bibb Co.

…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHERN BIBB COUNTY UNTIL 1100
AM CDT…

At 1022 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Coaling, or 13 miles southeast of Holt, moving east at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Vance, Woodstock, West Blocton, North Bibb, Green Pond, Hebron and
Marvel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
