The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
East central DeKalb County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 246 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast
of Fort Payne, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Fort Payne, Valley Head, Hammondville, Mentone, Sulpher Springs,
Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon NP.
