| June 20, 2021 @ 2:10 am

Flooding continues to be severe over Jefferson County and the NWS has issued a new Flash Flood Warning. This setup off NOAA Weatheradio receivers across the county, but that is a good thing because this is a serious situation.

Village Creek in Ensely has risen above 14′ now, which is nearly to the record level. Here is the flood gauge graph:

The rain is diminishing and progressing eastward now as Tropical Depression Claudette is on the move to the east. But flooding will be ongoing for several more hours.

Please be extremely careful overnight. Remember, turn around, don’t drown.
