Flash Flood Watch Issued for Portions of Central Alabama Until 10 pm

NWS Birmingham issues a Flash Flood Watch for Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Etowah, Jefferson, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, and Walker counties in Central Alabama until 10 pm tonight.

Expected heavy rainfall across the watch area may result in localized flash flooding, especially in urban, low-lying and poor drainage areas. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
