Dense Fog Advisory Issued for Much of Central Alabama Until 9 am Friday

NWS Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the following counties in Central Alabama until 9 am Friday morning: Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Marion, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston.

…DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST FRIDAY…

* WHAT…Visibility less than one-half in dense fog.

* WHERE…Areas along and north of the I-85 corridor.

* WHEN…Until 9 AM CST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.
