The Birmingham NWS radar is down, but you can watch our live ABC 33/40 Storm Alert radar (our own radar from Double Oak Mountain) on the live stream. You can access the live stream here on the blog; it is on the upper left (you can make it full screen if you want). Or, see it directly on uStream here.

Also, if you have an iPhone you can download the free uStream app which allows you to see all of our streams on your phone if you are connected via wi-fi.

We have noted a few tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings from the Jackson NWS office this morning, it still seems like the best chance of strong to severe storms this afternoon will be over the southern half of the state.
