Southeastern Elmore County in east central Alabama…
* Until 1245 PM CDT.
* At 1152 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Emerald
Mountain, or 8 miles southeast of Wetumpka, moving northeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Tallassee, Emerald Mountain, Ware, Yates Reservoir and Yates Dam.

building.
Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
