Northwestern Marion County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 348 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Detroit, or 8
miles northwest of Sulligent, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Hamilton, Weston, Byrd, Bexar, Pigeye, Marion County Public Lake,
Rankin Fite Airport, Pikeville and Shottsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for northwestern
and west central Alabama.
