NORTHEAST ALABAMA/SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
Over North Etowah County, extending into Dekalb and Marshall County. Shortly after 7:30, the heaviest showers were over SE Marshall and West Dekalb County. Vic Bell. 3340 Weather Watcher at Black Creek reported some heavy rain for a time at his location in NE Etowah County. He reported it was much heavier west of his location over West Etowah County. At the Gadsden Skycam there was 0.23 in about 15 minutes.
SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT
NWS/Huntsville issued it for mainly the Boaz area of Marshall County. The thunderstorm near Boaz eas nearly stationary and producing heavy rain. Could dump an additional one inch. 1 to 2 inches already in the last several hours in the general area. Police in Boaz have barricaded these roads/streets:

SOUTHWEST ALABAMA
Mainly Wilcox and Marengo County. Heaviest was approaching Camden.
ELSEWHERE
Couple of isolated showers over North Coosa County in East Central Alabama.
