Midday Nowcast: Fine Fall Friday

It is a beautiful fall day with tons of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 70s. It will be another great night for high school football across Alabama; the sky will be clear with temperatures falling through the 60s. After the games, temps will continue to fall any by first thing tomorrow morning, we should see a wide range in temperatures with upper 30s to low 50s, just depending on your location.

FOOTBALL WEATHER: UAB plays tonight as the Blazers travel to Bowling Green to take on Western Kentucky (7p CT kickoff)… the sky will be clear with temperatures falling from around 65° at kickoff into the mid 50s by the final whistle.

Tomorrow, Jacksonville State hosts SE Louisiana (1:00p CT kickoff)… the sky will be sunny with temperatures in the mid 70s.

Alabama will host Mississippi State tomorrow evening (6:00p CT kickoff); the sky will be clear in Tuscaloosa with temperatures falling from near 74° at kickoff into the 60s during the second half.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: Sunny, dry, and pleasant weather continues tomorrow and Sunday with highs in the 70s. Nights will be clear and chilly with lows in the 40s and 50s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday and Tuesday will be dry with a high in the upper 70s, but we will bring in a chance of showers with cold front by Wednesday. Moisture will be limited so rain amounts will be light. Then, the weather will be dry Thursday and Friday with highs mostly in the upper 60s.

IN THE TROPICS: All is quiet and no development is expected anytime soon. The season ends November 30th, which means we still have over a month to go before we can breathe easy.
