Tornado Watch for North and Central Alabama Until 7 p.m.

| October 25, 2022 @ 1:31 pm

Countiers included in the tornado watch are now correct.

As expected, a tornado watch has been issued for the western half of North and Central Alabama. It goes until 7 p.m. CDT.

The following counties are included in Central Alabama: Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Choctaw, Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Lowndes, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Shelby, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Wilcox, and Winston.

The following counties are included in North Alabama: Colbert, Cullman, Franklin, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, and Morgan.

Not much change in thinking but the line is a little faster than expected, getting ready to enter western Alabama counties. It is not very impressive at this time but is expected to intensify as we go through the afternoon.
