The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northern Elmore County in east central Alabama…

* Until 730 AM CDT.

* At 632 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Marbury, or
14 miles north of Millbrook, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Wetumpka, Tallassee, Deatsville, Eclectic, Santuck, Titus, Weoka
Mills, Jordan Lake, Welona, Ten Cedar Estates, Kowaliga Bridge,
Dexter, Southern Lake Martin, Western Lake Martin, Claud,
Holtville, Central, Jordan Dam, Wallsboro and Speigner.
