Tornado Watch Issued for Portions of Central Alabama Until 12 pm

The SPC & NWS Birmingham has replaced a Severe Thunderstorm Watch with a TORNADO WATCH effective immediately for Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Chilton, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Russell, and Tallapoosa counties in Central Alabama until 12 pm.

NWS Birmingham continues a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH until 8 am for Bibb, Clay, Greene, Hale, Randolph, Shelby, Sumter, and Talladega counties.
